Mothering Little Darling
Most days I love being a mom to Little Darling. Not all days, but most days. Today has begun as one of the good days. I drug my sleepy butt out of bed at 6 am in order to don my Easter Bunny suit and deposit money and candy filled eggs around the yard and in the tree (they look cool there), though how a real bunny would get them there...maybe I should run out and put them on the ground?? Then I filled the basket with goodies I hope he loves. Love, this is all done out of love. Speaking of love, I love sitting down on a dry toilet seat, of a pee free toilet. Sounds simple and reasonable right? Unless you live with Little Darling. He often forgets to clean his dribbles or flush, (he's 9). I feel by now he should be able to remember to flush and wipe the seat...I guess he has other ideas. So the other day I got out two small mason jars and I asked Little Darling to help me fill one with 35 dimes. Why he asked, and I told him because I figure he pees about 35 times a week...I put all 35 dimes in the jar with his name on it. Then told him that every time I find a dirty toilet from him, I get a dime. No pee in/on the toilet and he keeps the dimes. I started this Wednesday and have so far only collected two dimes. Ahh the joys of mothering.

My mom taught me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I don't expect you not to disagree with me at times, however I do expect you to do so politely.
