Junk in his Trunk

Little Darling has been complaining that his underwear are too tight - for like the past two weeks. He tells me, I make a mental note to buy larger underware and I promptly forget. So a few days ago I catch Little Darling grabbing dirty underwear to put on his clean hiney to go to school. This does not fly for me. I firmly believe jeans can be worn for a week, shirts twice, but underwear? Nope they are single use only. After telling him to get clean underwear he complains again that none fit. Finally deciding to get to the bottom of this I tromp upstairs to take stock of Little Darling's underwear drawer. As I predicted, it's full, sure some are a size too small - but there are five pairs in his current size (same size as the dirty contraband ones). Try these on I say, tossing him a pair. Too small he says. I look at his waist - they look good to me. No he says, too small down here, pointing to his junk. Yes junk - in my house boys have peepers and neighbors and they are collectively called junk. Mommies have special mommy places. I don't like the real words and you can't make me say them. Back to my story. Little Darlings underwear are not to small in the waist - they are too small on his junk. His junk in growing. Great - I really needed to know that about my baby boy.

My mom taught me that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. I don't expect you not to disagree with me at times, however I do expect you to do so politely.
